The Borrowed Teacup is an insured rental and event design company focused on helping you create an experience that will take your guests' breath away. We are excited to talk with you about your vision, share idea boards, and help you choose the vintage pieces that feel right. Want a mix of gold and pinks for your bridal shower? You got it! Planning a baby shower and want spring florals? Have we got the set for you! Throwing a fall New England evening wedding? We can't wait to show you our dark and moody china. We specialize in curating mismatched tableware for your specific event that will make people gasp when they walk in the room. We have an extensive collection of handpicked vintage pieces that will add warmth, intimacy, and charm to your tables.
The process: We schedule a consultation (in-person, phone, email) so we get a sense of what you're looking for. We'll share pictures and put a plan together to fit your vision and needs. Your event date is booked with a 50% deposit. We'll check in as your event gets closer and prepare your items and pack them safely for transporting. You'll have the option for us to deliver, setup, and breakdown the table settings and decor so you'll have a lot less stress on your plate. If you just need to rent a few pieces, we can do à la carte pricing too!
