Reviving Vintage China

When we were planning our own wedding, we wanted our family and friends to come together around warm food and intimate tables. The only tableware we could find to rent was plain and uninspiring. We didn't want our wedding to feel like a banquet. So we started collecting our inventory piece-by-piece until we had enough for the wedding of our dreams. We now strive to create memories for other families by working together on a vision and helping them bring it to life. Thank you for considering us to be a part of your big day.

How it Works

The Borrowed Teacup is a rental and event design company focused on helping you create an experience that will take your guests' breath away.

The process: We schedule a consultation (in-person, phone, email, zoom) so we get a sense of what you're looking for. We'll share pictures and put a plan together to fit your vision and needs. Your event date is booked with a 50% deposit. We'll check in as your event gets closer and prepare your items and pack them safely for transporting. You'll have the option for us to deliver, setup, and breakdown the table settings and decor so you'll have a lot less stress on your plate.

I'm a devoted mom, living a full life with my children and husband on our homestead, where we homeschool, grow, and savor every moment together. As I guide my family through this vibrant journey, I also love creating magic for others. I'm honored to carry on the heart and charm of The Borrowed Teacup, a dream that my dear friend Megan began in 2018 with so much love and care. I have a passion for curating whimsical table settings and helping people elevate their event experiences. Whether it's a milestone celebration or an intimate gathering, I'm here to infuse your special moments with a delicate, dreamy touch, like the gentle charm of a tea party in bloom.
